Results are beta coefficients (95% confidence intervals) derived from linear regression. Base model was adjusted for age, sex, ethnicity, socioeconomic deprivation and refractive error. Full model was the base model additionally adjusted for hypertension, diabetes mellitus, alcohol consumption, smoking history, and body mass index. mGC-IPL: macular ganglion cell-inner plexiform layer, mRFNL: macular retinal nerve fiber layer, SD: standard deviation.
