Intratumoral immune cells form a complex network that promotes tumor immune escape. TME hosts infiltrating immune cells, including MDSCs, DCs, mast cells, macrophages, neutrophils, lymphocytes, and natural killer cells with aberrant functions, which may work synergistically in a group to accomplice with tumors to evade immune surveillance and destruction, thereby promoting tumor growth.
