HC, healthy control; 17-HAMD, 17-item Hamilton Depression Rating Scale; BMI, Body Mass Index; NSSI, Non-Suicidal Self-Injury. Age, education, 17-HAMD score, BMI, illness duration, and NSSI frequency (the past 1 and 6 months, the past 1 years) did not follow a normal distribution and were described in terms of the median and interquartile range (P25–P75). The p-values were obtained by Mann–Whitney test. The p-value was obtained by a chi-squared test.
