CRNDE slowed the progression of post-traumatic OA in rats by modulating DACT1. An OA rat model was established using anterior cruciate ligament transectectomy. Ad-CRNDE was injected into the knee of OA rats alone or together with sh-DACT1. Six weeks after the operation, A the protein level of DACT1 in knee cartilage tissues was detected using Western blot analysis. B HE staining (Bar = 1 cm) and Safranin-O-fast green staining (Bar = 1 cm) were used to assess the pathological changes of the medial tibial and medial femur plateau joints in rats. C Osteoarthritis Research Society International (OARSI) scores. D, E TUNEL staining (Bar = 1 cm) of the medial tibial plateau joint was performed to analyze cell apoptosis, and the apoptotic cells and total cells were counted using Image J software. The sample size was n = 8, and each test was independently repeated at least three times. One-way ANOVA was used to detect differences among groups. *P < 0.05
