Underestimation of geometric error by Chamfer-based point correspondence on a real example. The reconstructed mesh R fails to correctly capture facial features like brows. While true correspondence shown for landmarks highlights this inconsistency, Chamfer correspondence misleadingly suggests that the landmarks are captured very well, leading to underestimated error.
