Localization of α/β-type SASP in germinated gpr spores by immunofluorescence microscopy. Spores of B. megaterium (PS1551 gpr) or B. subtilis (PS1029 gpr) were germinated for 10 min, fixed, treated, immunostained for α/β-type SASP, and visualized by fluorescence microscopy as described in Materials and Methods.
