Mrp 8/14 has a positive correlation with the serum level of PCT and IL-6 (Spearman correlation coefficient 0.541 and 0.512 respectively, all P = 0.000) and has a negative correlation with PaO2/FiO2 (Spearman correlation coefficient −0.547, P = 0.000).
