Each TR, the decision whether a feedback event occurs is made based on the change in signal from the previous time point (t−1) to the current time point (t) in the three ROIs (two targets and one control). Target locations are illustrations, not the targets used in the analysis here. A feedback event occurs if the direction of change in the two targets is the same, and opposite from the direction of change in the control ROI.
