Chemoattractant-induced cell migration. The cell migration across filters with micropores was quantified in the presence/absence of the chemoattractant vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF). The chemotactic coefficient was increased twofold in VEGF-treated primary HUVECs and hTERT-transfected HUVECs, but displayed no alterations in HSF (negative cell control).
