Competitive infection experiments performed with BALB/c mice. Mice were infected with a mixture of equal amounts of AJB715 (phoN) and one of the strains to be tested (IR715, EHW2, SF16, RAK48, EHW1, EHW12, SF24, EHW11, EHW3, SF22, or SF15).
