Malaria antigen-driven IL-10 and IFN-γ by bulk CBL and enriched CD4⁺ and CD8⁺ T cells. CBL were cultured at 2 × 10⁶/ml in a volume of 1 ml in 48-well culture plates with or without antigen for 72 h as described in Materials and Methods. Parallel cultures of CD4⁺ and CD8⁺ T cells (enriched by immunomagnetic positive selection) at a cell concentration of 1.5 × 10⁶/ml with 1 × 10⁵ bulk CBL as antigen-presenting cells were performed.
