Table 7.

The comorbid group has significantly greater numbers of psychiatric disorders as compared to the control group. The total number of psychiatric disorders was calculated by adding up the total for each patient in the control and comorbid study groups. The Mann–Whitney U test was used at a significance level of 0.05 to determine whether significant differences existed between the two independent study groups. Bolded numbers represent statistical significance (p < 0.05).
