Control: Medical Care As Usual (MCAU)
Outcomes Primary outcome measure: Change in Somatic Symptom Severity score using the SOMS‐7
Secondary outcome measures:  Patient Health Questionnaire‐depression scale (PHQ‐9); Whiteley Index for Health Anxiety; Short Form Health Survey (SF‐12); Inventory of Interpersonal Problems (IIP‐32); Presence of somatic symptom and related disorder diagnosis using the Structured Clinical Interview for DSM Disorders Version 5
