Part types are sorted in descending order by the number of total variants in each category. (B) Distributions of percent identity between distinct genetic part variants in each category and their canonical sequences. Boxes represent lower and upper quartiles (the interquartile range). Vertical lines within each box are medians. The whiskers correspond to 1.5 times the interquartile range. Points are outliers outside this range.
