The average clinical score of each type is plotted against day post challenge for (a) unvaccinated control goats, (be), single-vaccinated goats and (f) double-vaccinated goats. The 1x vaccinated animals at 6 mpv showed no clinical signs. The clinical signs are grouped by “behaviour” (movement, eating), “gut” (diarrhoea), “nasal” and “ocular” (primarily discharges from nose or eyes), “oral” (lesions in the gums or lips), “resp” (breathing difficulties or coughing) and “temp”, (significant changes of rectal temperature, included in this plot for completeness).
