Data Collection and Strategy
• Articles were included only if their primary focus was facial rejuvenation. • The retrieved articles were screened by two reviewers. • Information on each included article was then extracted by two reviewers independently, including the title, month and year of publication, corresponding author with his/her address, publication type, and journal title, the affiliation of the corresponding author, and the source country (determined according to the affiliation of the corresponding author). • The data were entered into Microsoft Office Excel 2019 (Microsoft Corporation). • Any disagreements were resolved through discussion. Moreover, journal impact factors (JIF) were collected from the 2022 Journal Citation Reports and the citations were collected from PubMed.
