Aha1 can stimulate the ATPase activity of K27 acetylation/deacetylation mutants of hsp82. Hsp82, Hsp82 K27R, and Hsp82 K27Q ATPase activities were determined in the presence or absence of Aha1. Hsp82 ATPase and addition of Aha1 are shown in light and dark gray, Hsp82 K27R and addition of Aha1 in light and dark green and Hsp82 K27Q and addition of Aha1 in light and dark red. The ATPase activities were normalized.
