(a) Cultured cells in 6‐well plates were treated with 12.5 or 25 μg/mL cisplatin for 24 h. Expressions of cleaved caspase‐3, ‐8, and ‐9, Bax, and Bcl‐2 in cells were detected by Western blot analysis. Data are representative of three independent experiments. (b) A specific caspase‐8 inhibitor, Z‐IETD‐FMK, was added 1 h before cisplatin treatment and cell viability was determined by MTT assay.
