TKD2 cells were either cultured alone or cocultured with A549 cells in the absence or presence of each inhibitor for 24 h. Tiron (5 mM), dimethyl thiourea (DMTU; 20 mM), diphenyleneiodonium (DPI; 0.5 µM), rotenone (5 µM). Total RNA was extracted, and MMP mRNA levels of TKD2 cells were determined by reverse transcription–polymerase chain reaction.
