Huaier extract suppresses cell viability of MCF‐7 and MDA‐MB‐231 cells. The effect of Huaier on cell viability was measured by MTT assay. (a) MCF‐7 and (b) MDA‐MB‐231 cells were treated with Huaier for 24, 48 and 72 h. Huaier extract significantly inhibited cell viability of both cell lines in a dose‐ and time‐dependent manner. The experiments were performed in triplicate and data presented as the mean ± SD of three separate experiments.
