Induction of the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) protein by desferrioxamine. The expression of EGFR was analyzed at the protein level by western blot analysis. Desferrioxamine induced a modest increase in the amount of EGFR protein. Increased phosphorylation of EGFR (Y845) occurred as well.
