Figure 1. Pdcd10BECKO mice exhibit neurobehavioral deficits.

Figure 1.

A) A brain endothelial-specific CCM animal model (Slco1c1-CreERT2; Pdcd10fl/fl[Pdcd10BECKO], and control Pdcd10fl/fl mice) was employed for motor, open field and learning and memory performance. B) Pdcd10BECKO male and female mice show no significant differences at P35 (n = 15 Pdcd10fl/fl and 17 Pdcd10BECKO, P = 0.558), but acute motor deficits using the RotaRod test beginning at P42 (n = 18 Pdcd10fl/fl and 14 Pdcd10BECKO) throughout the end of the experimental period. Data are presented as a mean ± SEM. C) Pdcd10BECKO male and female mice show contextual learning and memory deficits using the fear conditioning test at P50-P55. D) Pdcd10BECKO male and female mice show contextual learning and memory deficits using the fear conditioning test at P57-P63 (n = 18 Pdcd10fl/fl and 14 Pdcd10BECKO). E) Pdcd10BECKO male and female mice show no tone learning and memory deficits using the fear conditioning test at P57-P63. Data are presented as a mean ± SEM. *P < 0.05, **P < 0.01, ***P < 0.001.
