Localization of chromosomal sumoylation targets. The distribution of confirmed targets is represented schematically, based upon previously reported localization of the vertebrate homologues. These reported localizations generally reflect the bulk of each vertebrate protein on mitotic chromosomes, not specifically the sumoylated forms.
