Metabolic pathways were enriched using MetaboAnalyst 5.0 with the mummichog and gene-set enrichment algorithms (GSEA). The listed p-values were calculated by integrating the mummichog and GSEA p-values using Fisher’s method (65, 66). The lower the p-value indicates greater pathway enrichment, even if it is non-significant.
