Wnt5a expression colocalizes with PDGFRα-positive telocytes and reflects the telocyte distribution shift in metaplasia. Wnt5a expression, detected by RNAscope, exhibited colocalization with PDGFRα-positive cells located toward the upper region of the WT control stomach, where telocytes were observed.
