Tobacco BY-2 protoplasts were cultured in the presence of the proteasome inhibitor clasto-lactacystin-β-lactone (cLβL) and aliquots were prepared for conventional fluorescence microscopy of living cells at 12, 16, 24, 38, and 48 hpi.
