Schematic of the sensor. Glycans are captured by various BAs printed on SERS substrates. Each BA–glycan reaction complex offers a unique molecular fingerprint spectrum. The structural information is enriched by integrating the fingerprint spectra from different BAs, called collective Raman spectra. The complex collective spectra are processed by an advanced ML technique for glycan classification and quantification.
