Ron’s I Poem

I think without God

It would’ve been devastating

Everything happens for a reason

It’s given me strength

It’s been hard

After you see both parents die with cancer

I felt so strongly about it

I actually sold cancer policies

To try to help people

***

I had 100% blockage

I’m lucky to be alive

When you say your vows

I think you should make them

For better, for richer, for sickness, and in health

If you care for somebody during the good times

You should also care for them during the rough times

***

My wife and I first got married

My aunt died with cancer

I can’t remember

We had like 3 or 4 funerals

In the first two years we were married

Still tough

When you lose family members

My father died

My mother died

Without family you don’t have anything

If you don’t have somebody to care for

Life is a whole lot tougher in my opinion

And for them to care about you also

We just take it one day at a time

Try to make the best of it

Pray, faith, God has a plan
