The determination of protein molecular weight using size exclusion chromatography coupled with multiangle light scattering (SEC-MALS). The molar masses calculated from the SEC-MALS analysis are represented by the red line. The graph also shows the Refractive Index (RI) signal, which correlates with the concentration of the protein in the eluate. By analyzing the intensity of scattered light at multiple angles, SEC-MALS provides an accurate measurement of the molecular weight, independent of the protein's shape and size in solution.
