The known status of chronic wasting disease (CWD) in wild white-tailed deer by county in the 2019–20 season according to the results of surveillance testing by US state wildlife agencies³³. CWD Detected represents counties where governing wildlife officials confirmed at least one CWD-positive case in wild, white-tailed deer in the 2019–20 season. CWD Not Detected represents counties where governing wildlife officials conducted CWD testing in 2019–20 in wild, white-tailed deer, but did not confirm CWD in any subject.
