Eight compounds were identified from a pool of twelve candidate compounds to counteract the FLC tolerance exhibited by four strains subjected to testing. The FLC disk diffusion assays involved plating 1 × 10⁶ cells from a subset of strains with varying levels of FLC tolerance. These cells were grown on a YPD solid medium, both with and without adjuvant, at 30 °C for 48 h. Subsequently, the cells were replica plated onto YPD plates (devoid of FLC or adjuvants) and incubated at 30 °C for 24 h, following the removal of the FLC disk.
