HIV-1 pseudotypes packaged by HIV-1 (JR-FL or NL4-3), MBG, or EBO-Z GP display distinct specificities for virus entry. To determine range of infection by pseudotype viruses, HeLa cells (A), HeLa-CD4/CCR5 cells (B), or SupT1 T cells (C) were challenged with constant inocula of HIV-1 Luc+ pseudotypes. After 48 h, luciferase expression was assessed as previously described (1). Displayed values are typical of three separate infections.
