Protein synthesis in mutant virus-infected cells. (A) MDBK cells in a 35-mm-diameter dish were infected with the WSN, dl12, or N110 virus at an MOI of 3 then incubated for the indicated times at 39°C. Cells were labeled with [³⁵S]methionine-cysteine (100 μCi/ml) for 30 min. Proteins were immunoprecipitated with anti-WSN rabbit serum supplemented with anti-NP and anti-M1 or with anti-NS1 antibody. Proteins were analyzed by SDS-PAGE (10 to 20% gel). (B) MDBK cells in a 35-mm-diameter dish were infected with the WSN, dl12, or N110 virus at an MOI of 3.
