PGE₂ inhibits BLV-specific PBMC proliferation. BLV-infected PBMCs from AL and PL animals were cultured with BL3* supernatant (BLV+) or medium alone (BLV−) for 5 days with different concentrations of PGE₂ (0.03 to 30 μM). Proliferation was assessed by [³H]thymidine incorporation using a β-scintillation counter. The data are representative of experiments with four different AL and PL animals.
