Phylogenetic relationship of Austropeplea cf. brazieri with other representative lymnaeid snails inferred on the basis of an analysis of the aligned partial mitochondrial 16S rRNA gene sequences by Bayesian inference (BI) and maximum likelihood (ML) using Biomphalaria pfeifferi and Bulinus truncatus (family Planorbidae) outgroups. Bootstrap (BS) support for the ML and posterior probability (PP) of the BI analyses are indicated at each node of the tree.
