Histochemical analysis of NeuAc-α2,3-Gal and NeuA-cα2,6-Gal in the lung and the liver of chicken embryos by lectin binding. Cryosections of uninfected chicken embryos were incubated with MAA, specific for NeuAc-α2,3-Gal, or SNA, specific for NeuAc-α2,6-Gal, as described in Materials and Methods.
