The proportion of involved specialties differed according to the etiology of isolated oculomotor nerve palsy. Overall, the ophthalmologists were mostly frequently involved in the management of isolated oculomotor nerve palsy, but neurologists more frequently participated in the care of microvascular and inflammatory cases, and neurosurgeons in vascular anomalies.
