Structures of leptochelins A–C (13). Based on comparisons of 13C NMR chemical shifts (SI Appendix, Tables S5 and Figure S44), the absolute configurations for leptochelin B (2) and leptochelin C (3) are proposed to be the same as those of leptochelin A (1) at comparable centers. The configuration at C2 of compound 3, predicted to result from incorporation of l-cysteine, likely results in R configuration at this position.
