Graphical representation of key findings. The Tusc2 model displays changes associated with cognitive impairment caused by neuroinflammatory factors. Additionally, Tusc2 KO causes disturbances in the inhibitory mechanisms responsible for upholding the cellular microenvironment in homeostasis, leading to changes in crucial proteins responsible for maintaining the brain’s structure and neuroplasticity. These changes could potentially influence the development of cognitive impairment.
