Identification of the GFP fusion proteins synthesised by the ERAV IRES. Plasmid pE1(245–961) and a GFP-expressing plasmid, pT7GFP, constructed by deleting the CAT gene in pT7CG, were transfected into vTF7-3-infected BHK-21 cells. Following metabolic labeling with [³⁵S]methionine, cell extracts were immune precipitated with polyclonal rabbit anti-GFP antibodies and analyzed by SDS-PAGE and autoradiography.
