O-GlcNAcylation in ferroptosis. O-GlcNAcylation mediated by O-linked N-acetylglucosamine transferase (OGT) plays a crucial role in regulating ferroptosis through modifying ferritin, YAP1, ZEB1, JUN, SLC3A2, and SLC7A11. The promotion or inhibition of protein function by acetylation is indicated by a positive (+) or negative (−) sign, respectively.
