Eight-week-old Hjv Slc30a10fl/fl +/− Vil were characterized for: (a-d) liver Hjv (a), liver Hamp (b), duodenum Slc30a10 (c), and liver Slc30a10 (d) RNA levels by qPCR; (e-i) Mn levels in liver (e), brain (f), bone (g), pancreas (h), and small intestine (i) by ICP-OES; (j) blood Mn levels by GFAAS; (k) bile Mn levels by GFAAS; (l) 52Mn absorption by gastric gavage. Data are represented as means +/− standard deviation, with at least five animals per group. Data were tested for normal distribution by Shapiro-Wilk test; if not normally distributed, data were log transformed.
