Study design. A visual representation of the randomized, double-blinded, within-participant crossover study design. Participants completed 2 study visits separated by 14 days targeting either the right amygdala or left entorhinal cortex. Examples of amygdala and entorhinal cortex transcranial focused ultrasound (TFUS) targeting are provided in Figure 2, and a chart detailing sample demographics is provided in Table 1.
