Analysis of the 2021–22 Area Health Resource File. Health regions are groupings of municipalities defined by the Puerto Rico Department of Health. The net change in numbers was calculated by subtracting the measure in 2015 from the same measure in 2010. The percentage change was calculated from the net number change and dividing by the value in 2015 and then multiplying by 100.
