A target Lindbladian L, expressed as sum of Lindbladian terms modeling interactions between groups of spins, when implemented on an analog quantum simulator would have an hardware error per qubit—this error can either be due to an incorrect configuration of the Lindbladian (i.e., implementing Lα instead of Lα) or due to interaction with an external decohering environment.
