A: Adult flies were exposed to standard food or MP mixed in food at two doses: 1×MPs and 10×MPs. Treatment continued for 4 weeks, and sub-groups of flies were dissected and imaged at weeks 0, 1, 2, 3, and 4 (arrows indicate dissection and imaging time points).
