Overexpressed COL6A3 in EOC-derived EXs accelerated lung colonization. In total, 5/8 mice IV injected with 1 × 10⁶ SKOV3/COL6A3 cells and 10 μg of SKOV3/COL6A3 exosomes had colonization in the lung, while this was the case for 0/8 mice injected with 1 × 10⁶ SKOV3 cells and PBS (p = 0.007, as determined using Student’s t-test) and 1/8 mice IV injected with 1 × 10⁶ SKOV3/COL6A3 cells (p = 0.039) (Figure 10b).
