Yellow dots show the samples from the selenium intervention group, whereas the blue dots show the samples from the control group. The closer the dots in one group, the more similar in gut microbiota. The gut microbiota compositions are indicated with yellow and blue circles, respectively. The smaller the overlap of the two circles, the higher the difference in the gut microbiota compositions between the two groups.
