H2S prevented ACR-induced oxidative injury in Sertoli cells. (A,B) Amelioration of Sertoli cell viability by sodium hydrosulfide (NaHS). TM4 cells were pretreated with or without 1 mM NaHS for 15 min before exposing to 100 µM ACR for an additional 6 h. The cell viability was determined by Calcein-AM/PI staining (A) and WST assay (B). Data in (B) are mean ± S.E. (n = 5; **P < 0.01). (C) Inhibition of protein carbonylation and P38 activation by NaHS. TM4 cells were exposed to 50 µM ACR with or without 1 mM NaHS for 6 h. Cellular lysates were used to analysis of protein carbonylation and P38 phosphorylation.
