Clinically relevant subgroups. The effect of telemedicine on mortality and (re)hospitalisation was heterogeneous across these six patient characteristics. These characteristics were not examined in all of the included trials. Among the studies in which the characteristic was assessed, some found clinically relevant (significant) outcomes, while others did not find significant effects.
